Curbside and Drop-off Recycling for Weymouth
The Town of Weymouth provides biweekly curbside recycling for paper, cardboard, bottles, cans and yard waste, and a recycling area at the DPW for other items.

All recyclables (paper, cardboard, bottles and cans) go in ONE container now! Turn a trash can into a recycling can with a Single Stream Recycling sticker, available at the DPW office. Put nonrecyclable trash in a separate container.

The following items are banned by State regulation from disposal (310CMR19.017) and are TOO GOOD TO TRASH:

Backyard compost bins are available at the Weymouth DPW, 120 Winter St., for the reduced price of $22. Subsidized by the Mass. Dept. of Environmental Protection.

Mercury is a heavy toxic silver liquid also found in thermostats, barometers and blood pressure cuffs. It is illegal to dispose of mercury containing products in the trash.
Bring your mercury thermometers and other mercury-containing items (excluding fluorescent tubes) to one of Weymouth's HHW Collections or to the DPW at 120 Winter St. during regular hours and receive a free digital thermometer or Dunkin Donuts coupon.
